Children’s Ministry (Nursery – 5th grade)
Children’s Ministry quick view by stage and grade:

Please talk with one of the teachers listed above to discuss the possibility of your 5th grade student helping (student leader) in the nursery or Ms. Linda’s class.
NURSERY & CRY ROOM
The Nursery and cry room are available every Sunday morning (including Family Story Service).
Mrs. Jamie is our treasurer and has been serving in many roles over the years at Baker Street, including the nursery. The nursery opens on Sunday mornings starting at 9:45. If you’d rather stay with your nursery aged child during the service, we welcome you to do that. There is also a cry room right off the sanctuary which is available as needed and has a glass wall looking into the sanctuary and a speaker system so you can still be involved in the worship service while having some extra privacy and quiet space.
NOTE: If the cry room speaker system volume needs adjusting, please ask the tech booth located at the back of the sanctuary.
PRE-SCHOOL – 1st GRADE
As soon as your child is potty trained, they are able to move up from the nursery into Mrs. Linda’s class.
Linda has been serving in Children’s Ministry for over 15 years and has a natural gift to teach the little ones all about God’s love in fun ways that keep them engaged and learning.
GRADE SCHOOL (2nd – 5th GRADE)
The kids love their class and go away having learned something in a fun and creative way!
FAMILY DAY SERVICE
Family Day Service is the 2nd Sunday of every month.
This is a special time for our BSW family to all be together for worship. The nursery and cry room is still available, but there are no classes for the older kids. We like to encourage everyone to be together in the sanctuary as we do fun worship for the whole family (there’s a little something for everyone!) and a message in the format of a Bible story being brought to life! At Baker Street, We Are Family, and we love this service.
Family Day, besides being a unique and fun part of BSW, gives a little break for the Children’s Ministry teachers, allows us to all be together for worship, and we get a fun message from Mrs. Ann or one of the other teachers or staff pastors, in addition to the Family Day message.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Every child from Nursery through Middle School is required to utilize the check-in system in the lobby.
- All classes Preschool through 5th grade are dismissed during the service after a brief time of worship together.
- Parents/Guardians are asked to pick-up their children right after the service is done utilizing the pick-up system.
- We encourage you to spend time getting to know your BSW family after service. Once you pick up your children, we like to spend time in fellowship in the sanctuary, lobby, and the BSW Family Center where there are lots of games, a quiet room to make a cup of coffee and relax, and even a fun rock-climbing wall!
- There are no classes on the 2nd Sunday of each month for Family Day.
Youth Group (6th-12th) is weekly on Wednesdays
