Shepherd’s Loft

THE SHEPHERD’S LOFT
In 2007, a lady in our congregation felt led to gather gently used clothes to help people in the church who were experiencing hard times. God has grown her simple obedience into a global clothing ministry. Today, The Shepherd’s Loft provides clothes to over 500 households in Central Wisconsin each year, donates over 10,000 lbs. of clothes annually to Hope Gospel Mission in Eau Claire to support their homeless shelters, and ships over 7,500 lbs. of clothes each year to support the people of Zambia.
The Shepherd’s Loft is open Tuesday and Friday mornings. Details for donations and shopping are as follows:
DONATIONS: We accept all gently used clothing, shoes, and bedding (no mattresses please). We are no longer accepting kitchen or household items. Donations can be left by either set of glass doors between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon. If you require assistance or need a tax slip, please call 715-421-5335 for assistance.
SHOPPING: We are currently by appointment only, with 30-minute time slots running from 9:30 a.m. through 11 a.m. with the final time slot ending at 11:30 a.m. To schedule your appointment, please call ahead during Shepherd’s Loft hours.
While we prefer to serve you during the hours listed above, we understand that there are special needs that come up. Appointments can be made at other times if needed, so please feel free to contact the church to set something up.
There is no qualification process, and the items are always free because of the generous donations of our community. Each family may receive up to two grocery bags of clothing and is limited to one visit each calendar month.
